This Victorian terrace house was essentially given two extensions. The side return extension expanded the kitchen into the alleyway to utilise the full width of the property. Likewise, the rear extension uses the ample garden size to create an open-plan dining area.
The new space will act as a fantastic social hub for the all the family to use. However, the addition of two independent extensions gives illusion of separate areas whilst maintaining an open-plan feel. Both extensions include several Velux rooflights which results in the room being exceptionally light and spacious.
A few luxury items were sprinkled throughout the project such as bespoke concrete light fittings despite a medium-range budget. Other features which enhance the space include the gable end rear extension design and 1200mm floor tiles.
