This modernist 2 bedroom new build house was designed by renowned architect Nick Hayhurst and was shortlisted for a RIBA award. The house was built on a small garage ‘infill plot’.
Every square centimetre of the tiny plot has been used to its maximum potential which explains the building’s unusual shape. Also, due to the close proximity of neighbouring properties the building is entirely windows. To compensate, the architect incorporated a large atrium in the middle of the building which allows natural light into both the ground and basement levels. In addition, large skylights have been included in every room.
The build specification was to a very high standard throughout and kitchen and storage areas were entirely bespoke. This fantastic workmanship can been seen throughout the building which was construction in association with Rebuild London.
